Fishing program is fitted for groups, consisting of max. 6 anglers. Group will be transferred to atoll and accommodated during fishing in comfortable catamaran.
Program
Day 1st. Arrival to Mahe airport. Transfer to the harbor. Accommodation in catamaran. Night sail to atoll St.Joseph (overnight in a hotel available as an option).
Day 2nd. Arrival to St.Joseph. Resting time. Fishing (one or two sessions – depends on tidal periods).
Days 3rd – 8th. Flats fishing (two sessions per day).
Day 8th. Night sail to Mahe. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Free time.
Day 9th. Transfer to the airport. Flight home.
Trip duration: with flights Departure point-Mahe and back, whole trip could last for 10 – 11 days.
Season: October – November.
Price and terms of payment
Price for October/February 2008/2009 is 2800 EUR per rod.
Price includes: all local transfers; accommodation in catamaran Bahia, based on double occupancy; catering (full board); license to visit atoll; daily boat transfers to the fishing grounds; 6 full days of fishing; one night with breakfast in a hotel, Mahe.
Price does not include: flights Departure point-Paris-Mahe and back; personal expenses in Mahe island; alcoholic beverages; tips for catamaran crew and guides; fishing gear rental (fully equipped spinning rod – 200-240 EUR per week; lures – 30-40 EUR).
Trip is considered to be reserved when deposit of 50% of trip price is paid. The rest 50% of trip price should be paid no less than 8 weeks before departure. In case of cancellation deposit is not refundable.
Additional information
It is recommended to have 2 or 3 kits of tropical wear (light shorts, thin pants, tropical long-sleeved (!) shirts, cap with long peak, tropical hat, couple of bandanas, polarized sunglasses of good quality); personal hygiene set; sun protection crème; personal medicine kit.
Attention: Nearest medical center is in 12 hours away from our fishing grounds. Travelers should purchase insurance providing compensation for evacuation costs.
